Homebase is a revolutionary fitness app that focuses on tracking your progress across 11 pillars of fitness to provide a comprehensive and personalized picture of your health and performance.
Unlike most fitness tracking apps that focus mainly on steps or calories burned, Homebase concentrates on the 11 pillars of fitness to provide a well-rounded understanding of your overall fitness. There is no better lense or method to assess and view your current state of overall fitness.
The 11 pillars are Aerobic, Agility, Anaerobic Endurance, Balance, Body Composition, Flexibility, Power, Quickness, Skill, Speed, and Strength.
To start, you simply need to complete the form for the first 11 assessments. From there, you can update your scores at any time.
Ideally, you will submit one assessment per fitness pillar. There are two assessment options per pillar, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your abilities and equipment availability.
In crafting Homebase's unique fitness assessment repertoire, we focused on accuracy, inclusivity, comprehensiveness, and data richness. We have chosen a suite of assessments that will seamlessly blend into our innovative tech interface, without sacrificing the integrity or precision of results.
They offer the right mix of usability, reliability, and validity, reflecting an honest, true-to-life image of each user's fitness level.
Our suite of assessments has been deliberately selected for their strong correlation to real-life performance, covering a broad spectrum of fitness pillars. This ensures that our users receive a comprehensive, 360-degree view of their health and well-being.
The choice of assessments strikes a balance between minimal equipment requirements and maximum user accessibility, enabling anyone to participate, no matter their circumstances or fitness background.
Moreover, these tests generate a wealth of data, which is allowing us to continue to develop our database of robust and reliable norms. The end result? A fitness tracking app that not only motivates and tracks progress but also offers an authentic reflection of each user's fitness journey. Welcome to the future of personal fitness with Homebase.
No - you can start by submitting only a few scores and your fitness breakdown won't be delayed. However, please note that you will receive an incomplete radar chart until there is at least one score per pillar.
Yes - after your initial submission, you can use the same form again to update previously submitted scores and/or to add additional assessment scores for any pillar. If it's another score for a pillar you already used, then we simply use the most recently submitted score. If it's a new score for a second assessment within a pillar, then we factor both assessment scores for a more comprehensive breakdown.
The assessments have been designed to require minimal equipment, making them accessible to a wide range of users. The specific equipment needed will depend on the assessment you choose. Most of the equipment required can be found in any gym.
